Opened as part of the Ports O Call expansion in 1982, the Crusty Crab Fish Market and Restaurant was originally intended as competition to its neighbor, The San Pedro Fish Market and Restaurant. As a matter of fact, it is built on the site of Norm’s Landing which was San Pedro Fish Market’s original location. However, over time these two businesses found it was better to co-exist as friends than competitors and forged a friendship that would eventually lead to both businesses being owned and operated by the same people.
